Here you will find build photos of Jim's effort. Remember this is just the main build—it doesn't show the design, engineering and part fabrication. It truly is hard to comprehend how monumental this task was. At some point I hope to publish some drawings and materials that Jim created. But for now, I hope you will enjoy taking in some of the photographs that we have. 

Perhaps logically, perhaps not, but the photos are grouped into those taken in his garage and those at the airport...mostly in and around the hanger. He built major components at home, where he had air conditioning...and Mitzi to keep him company. (They worked side by side for much of this and, though you rarely see her in a photo, they were inseperable.) After completion of the components...well you get the idea...
